Do you have human bone biopsy, mini-pig models, rabbit models, higher magnification rodent models? We now open scans four times larger than before — up to 16 GB — so you no longer need to scan a section in separate regions.
The new Formation Data Measurement Type automates osteoid and double-labeled surface (dLS) measurements. Paired with BIOQUANT Segment, it speeds the measurement process substantially.
Use BIOQUANT Segment to identify osteoid and save it to a segment layer. In BIOQUANT Measurement, that layer is immediately recognized and measured with the Formation Data tool, giving you osteoid volume, surface, and width.
Likewise, identify the double-labeled surface in BIOQUANT Segment and save it to a segment layer. The Formation Data tool recognizes and measures it, giving you mineral apposition rate.
Beyond osteoid data and mineral apposition rate, segment layers can be saved for other features such as bone volume, osteoclasts, and more.
No separate purchase. The Ai Suite will come with your Technical Service Plan.
BIOQUANT SCAN and BIOQUANT Measurement are licensed products. When BIOQUANT 2027 releases in Spring 2027, each Ai Suite tool will be included with an active Technical Service Plan on the product it pairs with. New to BIOQUANT? A license plus its Technical Service Plan gets you the full workflow.
Already a BIOQUANT lab? Keep your plan active and the 2027 Update and its Ai Suite tools will be yours at release. Ask us at ASBMR.

Get an early look at BIOQUANT 2027 before its Spring 2027 release. Bring your image files to the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research Meeting:
- BIOQUANT SCAN source images — we'll stitch them with BIOQUANT Stitch.
- A third-party slide scan (Leica SVS, Big TIFF or Hamamatsu NanoZoomer) — we'll bring it in with BIOQUANT Convert and segment it with BIOQUANT Segment.
No files with you? We'll have sample scans from BIOQUANT SCAN and several third-party scanners to show.
